There is a crack,
a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in.
-- Leonard Cohen, Anthem
Thinking about therapy?
Uncertain. Overwhelmed. Cautiously hopeful.
These feelings – and many others – are common when we begin a journey of self-discovery and healing through therapy. Whether you’re exploring the idea of counselling for the first time or are looking to re-start or continue your work, I’m here.
Andrea Wall, MA
Registered Clinical Counsellor
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I also hold a Master’s degree in Development Studies.
After studying and working in the Middle East, East Africa, and Europe, I spent nearly 10 years supporting newcomers to Canada. I became a counsellor because I wanted a more tangible way to support those who are struggling. I also knew, from working through my own trauma, that therapy can be an incredible tool for healing.
Since 2020 I have worked as a clinical counsellor in a variety of roles, including on a rural First Nations reserve as well as at a drop-in youth health centre. I currently divide my professional time between private practice and work as a trauma therapist for a Vancouver-based not-for-profit.
When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me walking my dog, planting flowers, and trying to convince my partner that life really is better when lived outdoors.
